In 2018 I began an ongoing action which involved generating fortune cookie-style messages that began with the word ‘stir’, using i-Phone predictive text. I then laser-engraved the messages onto coffee stirrers, accompanied with 'for a long life' on reverse side of the stirrer.

I planted the stirrers at the counter of random coffee shops in London for consumers to discover, whilst contemplating how to live their life over a coffee. The stirrers work best when paired with long life milk.
